Kinoshita has photographed about 50 major theaters in Japan, including Tokyo Bunka Kaikan pictured here, the Aichi Arts Center, Suntory Hall, and the New National Theatre, Tokyo. He has also been asked to photograph the opening of many halls. In addition to this he has photographed older halls such as Osaka's Nakanoshima Public Hall (now Osaka City Central Public Hall) and Nagoya City Public Hall, capturing Japanese halls both old and new in all their glory.
